The JL Audio Stealthbox is a great idea, I love the fact that it doesn't take up trunk floor space. But it does sacrifice the "fill" in the rear. I didn't think I'd do it, but I'm looking into putting some 4" speakers into the stock Bose door locations (I have the non-Bose).
Here are my questions...
How can I hook up the fronts and rear door speakers to the amp? Now that I added the separate Xtant 121m amp to the Stealthbox, does that mean that my fronts are no longer amplified being that the amp I removed, the one on the rear speaker said 4x20watts on it?
TIA

...don't fret. The rear said 4x20 because don't you remember? The stock non-bose system on the A4 has 8 speakers, 4 in rear (what a joke)! So the 4x20 probably just means that there are 4 speakers (2 coaxials) on the rear deck. Besides, of course you're getting power to the front speakers, otherwise, you wouldn't be hearing them won't you. I could be wrong here but the fronts on the non-bose are powered by the stock 99.5+ concert/symphony head unit while the rears are self-amplified.
