I just bought a 99.5 1.8T about a month ago and was curious as to what people think is their most important or favorite modification? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

View Full Version : What did you modify first? boda1 09-28-1999, 05:55 PM I just bought a 99.5 1.8T about a month ago and was curious as to what people think is their most important or favorite modification? RAINX is very neat on the back window since there is no wiper. Scotch guard the seats and i got rubber mats for my floor. Other than that my a4 is the best car inthe whole world

www.weathertech.com</a

Alex-99.51.8Tqm 09-28-1999, 06:28 PM Koushik 09-28-1999, 07:20 PM Tom 09-28-1999, 07:58 PM Mike Kwok 09-29-1999, 04:11 AM Here's my logic. I needed to break the car in so I left the chip option out. I hated the stock 15" wheels and a new chip would have made the car more powerful, but at the same time, made the tires which I hated work even harder...they wouldn't. So I went for wheels first. The next thing will be on handling....I want the car to be able to handle the power easily before I put the power in (therefore suspension upgrade and brakes), then chip and others. As my A4 was one of the first in Toronto, a set of 17's made it even more distinct. (Anyone see a silver A4 with a set of 17" Dial at Market Village or Time Square in 1997...that was me!! :)....Now they are a dime a dozen in Toronto....oh well Mike Kwok 09-29-1999, 04:13 AM StevenN 09-29-1999, 05:21 AM N.........T.........
