I hope everybody is doing well. This is just a friendly reminder that we will be having our next event this Saturday, April 8th. The meet will begin at Liberty State Park with our “Spring Fling” and conclude at Englishtown for a “Day at the Drag Strip.”
I’ve made special arrangements with Liberty State Park to accommodate our meet. I hope that everyone can make a special effort to attend.
Following the “Spring Fling” we’re going to caravan down to Englishtown and have a “Day at the Drag Strip.” The track has open runs (test & tune) from 1 to 7 PM. At 7, they will begin elimination races for their Import Survival Series. Anyone wishing to run during the elimination rounds is welcome to.
Also for those interested, on Sunday, April 9th, Englishtown will be hosting a Classic VW Show & Go. While I’ve made no coordinated effort to organize a strong Audi presence for this event, I know a few members who will be attending. If you’re interested see me on Saturday and make sure you get in contact with the few that plan on attending.

Directions to Liberty State Park
From Manhattan
Take the Holland Tunnel and keep to the right.
Follow the NJ Turnpike to Exit 14B (one exit) and follow the directions below.
From North, West, or South
Take the NJ Turnpike Extension to Exit 14B.
After the toll booth, bear left and follow the signs to Liberty State Park.
At the bottom of the hill continue straight after the circle.
You will now be on Morris Pesin Drive
Make a left on Freedom Way.
The Interpretive Center Parking Lot will be on your left.
From Jersey City
Enter the park on Johnathon Avenue
Johnathon Avenue turns into a cobble stone road and becomes Audrey Zapp Drive
Make a right on Freedom Way (paved road)
The Interpretive Center Paking Lot will be on your right
Directions to Englishtown from Liberty State Park:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 9,
follow the signs to Route 18 South.
Go six miles to the Englishtown exit.
Take Route 527 South five miles.
Make a left onto Pension Road (Raceway Park billboard on left).
