Our next event will be a meeting at The Inside Track in Stockton to be followed by a scenic tour through the Sacramento Delta. The Inside Track is an indoor go-cart facility which is different in that we will actually be able to compete against each other on the track! Our previous cart events have been at the Malibu Grand Prix where competition is limited to racing against the clock and comparing times. This should be a lot of fun and promises to get everyone's competitive juices flowing.
After carting for a couple of hours we will make a short 30 minute drive to Walnut Grove for lunch at the Pizza Factory. This is a sandwich/pizza shop with an excellent view of the Sacramento River.
Following lunch will be our scenic tour of the Delta region as we travel to Rio Vista. Our drive will take us to and across Ryer Island which will involve two short ferry rides. This should be a lot of fun. Our final destination will be Foster's Big Horn restaurant/pub in Rio Vista. Foster's is home to the world's largest private collection of hunting trophies (no offense to any non-hunters out there). The collection is supposed to be quite unique. Foster's will provide us a final opportunity to socialize and talk Audi before ending our day and heading home.

Cost?
The Inside Track charges $14.50 per person for each ten minute track session. Club members who have visited this facility say that each ten minute session is quite exhausting and you definitely get your money's worth! There is also a one time $2.75 charge for a track driver's license.
