Anyway, the poster went on press Friday night, I did the press check that night and everything looked good. I expect the poster to be delivered to me on Monday Dec. 6 or Tuesday Dec. 7. The first batch should be shipped out by the end of the week.

I'm having troubles getting the proper size mailing tubes. Xpedx, which is the only place locally I know where to buy large quantities of tubes, was out of caps for the size I wanted. And of course they were out of the next acceptable size. I'll be going back tomorrow or Tuesday and if they don't have the proper size I want, then I'll buy longer ones and cut off the excess (don't want the poster moving around too much in the tube). Either way, posters should start going out the door by the end of this week.

All the details of the poster can be found in the Product Catalog. Follow the link to order the poster.

P.S. the reason for not changing the 'A4.Org Catalog' to 'AudiWorld Catalog' was because I couldn't fit 'AudiWorld Catalog' in the space needed above. Same goes for 'A4.Org Info' being changed to 'About Us'<ul><li><a href="http://www.audiworld.com/catalog/index.html">Product Catalog</a></li></ul>

Looks great Matt! Just ordered mine a minute ago. Was wondering what sort of camera and film speed etc you used to take the photo? I'm sure the online pictures don't do the poster justice. So looking forward to seeing it on paper.

Just curious...you change the name of the web site to Audiworld...then produce the first Audiworld poster...and it features (surprise) an A4? Do you intend to produce a series of posters, one for each model? How about a poster featuring all models? Or is the name change a change in name only?

Look at the picture...it's beautiful...if you go read the article on how they made it (in the news archive) it was pure luck. I personally don't think they really need to produce another one...for one thing, most people with recent-model Audis have the A4/S4. Another thing is that I think it's a beautiful picture that owners of any model will appreciate.

... from talking to Jason Teller recently, the website is taking much more of an interest in other models. The amount of information (and AudiWorld-member photography) on other models is slim.

However, as other models progress to the popularity of the A4 and great pictures like this one are captured, I'm sure further posters will be produced if there's interest.

<center><img src="http://www.audiworld.com/news/99/ttquattro/photos/39.jpg"></center><p>When we first started planning the poster, we had two photos that we thought we could use - this photo of a TT at sunset or the A4 at the Salt Flats. Obviously, the A4 won out, mainly because we thought it would be more marketable as our first poster.

When this current poster sells out, we'll do another which will most likely be this TT image because I already have a high-res scan of it (225 mb), and those aren't cheap. This TT image should be an "easy" poster to create since very little retouch and color correction needs to be done (you should see the original A4 photo!).

Last but not least, when I started designing the poster, we didn't have firm plans on changing the name of the site. You should see the cool A4.Org logo I created for the poster. But we decided if we're going to change the name, we should do it now so it could be on it. I guess you could say that this poster is directly responsible for us changing the name of this site at this time.

Anyway, we will be doing other posters in the future, and they most likely will always feature only one car.

but I have a feeling that Audi wouldn't be willing to let us have it for a few days for a photoshoot.

About 3 seconds later my daughter fell off a 3 ft. boulder face down into a big mud puddle. Boy, that was fun.

...correct lighting, my Avus model could come in handy! :-) Don't laugh just yet!
