Hey guys-
My 2006 A3 makes a regular clicking noise, even when the Heat/AC is completely off. It happens about once every 7 seconds, and sounds like vents that direct air to the floor/vent/windshield are moving (as the sounds is coming from inside the dashboard). If I turn the air on, it stops making the noise.

Anyone have any ideas about this issue?

Thanks for the idea. I don't think the motor is the problem- it seems to work fine (too good actually). I was assuming a sensor or controller that tells it when to stop is malfunctioning... Just curious if anyone had a similar problem. Perhaps the controller is integrated with motor and that's why you have to replace the motor...
