View Full Version : I know this is not A4 content. Any one know of a RX-300 forum?

My wife is considering getting one. She likes sitting up high (CO is F150 country) so she can see better. I was hoping to find a forum like this for either the RX-300 or for Lexus. We test drove the XCountry and A6 last Saturday. She just did not feel right in them.

XCountry showed its age (platform is based on the 850 which is quite old by now)
A6 she felt was too big.

most of the info I will want. Man, the more websites I see for other cars the more I appreciate this one. - and it keeps getting better.

The real issue is the warranty since the only dealers are in Denver and we live in Fort Collins 60 miles away.

Now I know what some of the posters here are going through with their A4s - not having a dealer close by. I am quite suprised with all the money flowing into N Co that no one has opened a dealership here or near Boulder.

The only other car that would have all the same features and have a local dealer is the new BMW X5 but that is a $60K car. I guess we could always tell our daughter that she will have to pay her own way through college.

The fairer comparison to the 6-cylinder Lexus RX300 will be the 3.0 liter 225hp in the BMW X5 ;however, if I can afford one I will definitely go with the 4.4 liter V8 or wait for the Mercedes ML55 or "M"X5
