a few chips...AND I've been hanging back from the cars ahead of me and trying to steer clear of trucks, etc. I keep planning to get the clearbra done but I haven't had the time. Also, any tips on the best way to fix a few small rock chips with the factory paint? Is lanka good?

You can really notice the lamp's protection as you see the stone indentations on the film.

The protection on the bumper is no where as near, but so far nothing that wouldnt buff out. I'll being going for a full bumper/hood film next year.

totally worthwhile investment imho.

since day one (10 miles) when I picked it up. And they look brand new. I got some extra film and made templates for the mirrors to use as patterns on the Lamin-X.

After all that though, there is a Dinan5 (Carbon black I think)at my work place, and frankly, the line across the hood from the vinyl looks bad to me.

Coverage: Front bumper, headlights, foglights, hood about 1/4 of the way up from front, mirrors, door sills, door edges, door handle cups, top of rear bumper aka "golf strip".

Does the film on the headlights cause any heat issues with xenon lights?

And how hard is it to get a good bubble free application?

I really like this idea. Hadn't thought to do it on previous cars and the headlight lens always gets so pitted with rock chips :(

Use lots of soapy water, and push the water residue out from under the plastic. There will some slight hazing as well as a few bubbles, those go away within 3 or 4 days.
