I love the look of factory roof rails, and I plan to leave the aero roof bars on all the time for convenience. The only catch is that there isn't enough clearance to open the opensky since it needs to tilt up. Given the limited function (can't open), should I just delete this option? My other option is to go with the factory roof rack without roofrails but it sits too high to my liking. What to do?

I rarely open the sunroof so I can live without it. I still got it because a) I think it helps resale a lot and b) I like the additional light that it provides.

If you get the audiusa rack, you can open the roof because they are higher. If you get the euro sourced feet/bars, its lower profile and you can not open it.

how difficult is it to adjust the thule low profile clamps? Perhaps I could slide the front aero crossbar back to the rear (similar to the toureg's roof rack) to have a rear spoiler when not in use, and slide it back to the front when I need to use it! Is there enough clearance for the rear bars to clear opensky when fully open?
