35K miles on OEM, time for new tires. What did you replace them with?
Any feedback on these:
- Bridgestone Potenza G 009
- Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S
- Yokohama AVID H4S

do you have a higher res avail? nice job.
tires. I have been running michelin ps2. I have never been more satisfied with any of my mods. Traction and handling are amazing. And the best part is, they (along with your pzeros) are one of the lightest high performance tires around.
Comfort is good. no issues there.
TRACTION IN RAIN, EVEN WHEN COLD, IS UNREAL.

Picked them up after a number of posters recommended them. I've had them for about 4 months.
Quieter than the P6s ever were.
Grip seems pretty good.
Handles just fine in the snow.

but I haven't used them, so I guess this post is pretty worthless.

, short lived, and pricey. Toyo T1R are my fav budget sport tire. Don't live much longer than the Pilots, and lack the ultimate in go-kart feel, but they let go progressively, and are the lightest tire out there for the size. Dunlop makes some nice comfort oriented sport tires.
All of these are summer tires though.
They're certainly quieter and more grippy than the Pirelli P6's. I still would like even more traction though.
My wife has Potenza G009's on her B6 A4. They're not as good as the Potenza RE950's they replaced traction-wise, but they are cheaper and less harsh. They felt "bouncy" to me. I wouldn't put them on my A3.
I have heard good things about the PZero Nero M+S (recommended by a TireRack advisor).

Would like to try a different tire, but I have always liked bridgestone's. My next choices if I do not purchase another set of the 960's would be, in no particular order: continental extreme contacts (20lbs), the PZeroNero M+S (23lbs), or PS2's (23lbs).
Good luck with the choice you make!
