What do you think would look better on a red A3 with open sky?
I'm thinking black since it would blend more with open sky and there isn't any other aluminum or chrome on the outside unless you did alum mirror covers. But the alum ones look so nice.
Watchoo think? Anyone have pics? All i found was that maroonish Garnet red.
Do roof rails always add more time to a custom order? How much more?

black rails. if you plan to have silver/polished wheels, then go with aluminum. i have aluminum rails and i absolutely love them. iirc, it didn't add much more time for the build order.

So it can be done....they're about $500 for black, $750 for aluminum + labor.

A3 orders fly thru the plant. USA only sells 4-5k per month. You'll be driving the car for 4-5 years, why not wait 2 months for what you want?

as munkb said, silver if you're going to add mirrors and wheels.

Think the alum rails would look ok?

If i ever get new wheels they would be either black or dk grey centers with polished lip.

The original '06 dealers sample models had both so I'm assuming that AoA is offering the same combo.
