Can these adapters work with any speaker brand or only with MB Quart? How much do they cost? Thanks.

They will work with some other brands. The 2 things to worry about are the hole mounting pattern in the speaker basket and the depth of the speaker. I installed a set of a/d/s/ 5.25" components using them but had to modify the adapters to allow enough clearance for the depth. Search the archives for gobs of more info. Cost is about $40 for a pair, I think.

I have had everything done on my system (deck, front tweets, amps, sub, line driver) for about two weeks now, but still no Quart 5 1/4"s in the doors. I called them and they said it would be another week before they got to my retailer, and then also however long he takes to ship 'em to me. DOH!
