It's a beautiful, more relaxing car but the DSG and the sprint of the A3 2.0T engine make a lot of difference. I was thinking before to trade in my A3 for A4 but now I changed my mind.

I had to take my A3 in for a tuneup and to check a engine light. and they were kinda mortified when i pulled up rocking 2 12" Type R Alpine Subs with comp wiring. they looked at me quite funny. along with the blackout 10% window tint. lol.

but back to your feelings.

I recieved an A4. and for the 3 days I had it. i called everyday hoping my car was done because i was so tierd of the A4. it wasnt as pick up'ish and i really missed my DSG shifting. So. yea. A3. it rocks. if i need an A4. i'll just drive my RS4. it drives a little better then the A4 :-)

If it was an APR-tuned A4 2.0T QT with S-Line, then I would beg to differ. :)

I know a loaner car isn't the same, but I don't mind driving our A4. It's pretty much just as quick as the A3 now after the program. And with Quattro and S-Line/sport suspension, it's pretty darned fun to drive.
