Here I am posting on this board again and on my 5th Audi myself, I have to change my sig now that I have had my A3 for 1 and a half years. Damon my freind, you have once again proven to be mod happy and owning the block. I have one question, how are you doing at maximizing traction? For me, it's the biggest challenge everytime I'm on it but I'm always at that sweet spot between slip and traction. 1st and 2nd gear is an art form. That said, in corners (like my favorite Decker Cyn.) I think the car hooks up with some serious balance. I could not believe how well the front wheel drive and weigth/balance set up of the car handles as I dirft around turns. I am very happy... I just wish I could get a little more traction off the starts. Nice ride bro. Score some surf. That first southern hemi a few weeks ago came through with a bang! I caught drainpipes doing it's slabbing thing into the flats on a weekday morning at the peak of the swell. Winter sucked ass but that swell put the skipped heartbeak back into the mix more than all winter offered up! Damon 04-01-2007, 11:10 AM Extra plastic hanging off my car and body kits and wings and all that stuff is something that I have always tried to stay away from. That could look really good but once you hang plastic you really need the whole 9 yards. Slammed with a really sick set of 19x9s with like a 255/30/19 and a brake kit.. I mean everything... stereo... etc.. and all that.. maybe some graphics... a nice Imola Yellow paint job.. Body mods would be absolutely last on my list. I'll never get there. I would like to try a more aggressive coil-over set-up (maybe), I'd like to address lighting, I need an Ipod hook-up, I need some tint (maybe)... a limited slip diff maybe... some tranny bushings... I'm all about all go with as little show as possible. As opposed to the other way around. Things that make the car work better first... and if they make it look better at the same time great. But that's just me... I'm a fiend... a driver. Besides it's a lease, 2 years. Everything I've done I can take off in 2 days and sell or, better yet, transfer to a quatro 2.0 A3. I have all the (super clean) stock parts neatly stored in the garage. RyanA3 [C30 v2] 04-01-2007, 11:34 AM Damon 04-01-2007, 02:54 PM *snap*.. as far as my wife knows! MWAHAHAHA But I do get a rediculous deal on all my mods. Thanks to Eric at Supreme Power.
