I've got the fore and aft positioning down, but don't understand how far inboard the jack pad should go. The picture (posted by Waggin) shows the pads near the sills. Is that the correct point? Any help would be appreciated. Don't want to do any damage.

on the 2.0t, there's a nice subframe cross member that you can jack up the entire rear, but I don't see it on yours.

You can position the lift just behind the pick up points then place the jack stands at the pick up points.

Could someone highlight on the attached picture where exactly jack and jack stands would go for front and rear?
