Hi guys, I am a new 2007 ibis whilte A3 owner. My car comes with S-line, Navi, technology package and open sky. My car just broke the 1000 mile mark and i haven't had a chance to open her up yet :) However, I have a few questions and hope that you guys can help me with.

1) bluetooth connectivity - both my phone and my salesperson' won't be able to connect to my car. Is there something that dealer needs to do to activate this function?

2) auto-folding side mirror - The side mirror on the right should automatically tilt when I put the side mirror adjustment dial to the right and put the car in reverse. However, it's not working since day one. Did I do something wrong? or should I take it back to the dealer?

1. Every time somebody joins this forum, and has a rather unusual colored car, we need to see pictures! :)
2. BT- somewhere on the Audi website IIRC is a list of phones capable to connect through BT with your car. If not, call AoA customer service (even if I doubt that they are of any real help!) and ask them about your specific phone model. On my A3, I was able to use an older model Sony-Erricsson phone. Since your car is an '07, maybe it comes with an updated BT and more phone choices. Follow the setup procedure explained in the manual.
3. The mirror tilting? Never heard of this feature on the '06 MY. I know it exists on certain cars, but not on A3. If you are sure your car has it... just ask the dealer to take a look at it.

That's why there's an asterisk in the subject heading in the Owner's Manual--to indicate it's an optional feature. Unfortunately, it's an option that isn't yet available in the U.S. and Canada.

My salesperson said the Bluetooth may not work with every phone. He explained to me Audi follows the latest Bluetooth specification when the car was designed and that part of the software doesn't get updated so it is possible that some older and new phones do not work with the BT.

Yeah the autotilt doesn't come in the A3 I am afraid, it came in my old A4 as well.
