KBB does not buy cars...dealers typically use Black Book anyway. KBB is all about making the car owner feel happy. :o)

Did you use retail or private party price? What condition did you use? To a typical buyer all those mods decrease the value of the car.

Until you actually try to sell all the valuations in the world are speculation.

I am in the process of trading my A3 for a different market. I was quoted $22,500. It's A3 2.0T DSG premium with 6,500miles. I will check with Carmax with the hope of getting a thousand more.

based the condition by their definition but there is really nothing wrong with it. no visible dents or dings and just look at my pics, paint still looks like a mirror
