is it possible to retrofit launch control on u.s. spec a3? saw somewhere that outside the us the cars come equiped with launch control. is this true? if so, how can i get it?

This involves removing it, opening it up, and swapping out the electronic and hydraulic control unit inside. Not for the feint of heart.

IMHO, launch control is useful only in one place: the drag strip.
