About a month ago VWAG showed their 30th Anniversary GTI "study". They showed an electronic limited slip torque-sensing differential patterned after the Haldex fr-rr differential, but designed and built by VWAG, and a 230 hp 2.0T FSI engine (the new e-tor-sen lsd diff allows them to put more power thru the front wheels). So, have you heard anything about these "improvements" making their way into the A3?

I haven't heard any details about it, but somebody in VAG did tell me it's coming. They don't know which models and when.
We all know there is plenty of headroom in the 2.0T engine, but getting that power hooked up is another matter. So it makes sense that VAG will introduce it sooner or later - along with a power bump.

klik for PreX
