I see a lot of Remote Key Fobs selling on ebay and is wondering if they will work for our A3s. It seems that there are different style key fobs too and they have operate on different frequencies. Do you know what frequency ours work on? Is it worth while to buy them on ebay? Is it that as long as the key fob has the right frequency, it will work or is it has to be a certain style key fob...Sorry for being such a noob, cause I am!! ;P

and there's a limit to how many keys the Immobilizer will recognize--I don't know what the number is, but it's probably 3 or 4.

Also, I think the alarm system will only obey 2 different key fobs for unlocking/disarming purposes.

and don't lose it. Its very expensive to replace and reprogram.
