Hi everyone,

Been lurking for awhile while we were shopping. You guys and gals have a nice forum, I'll be around a good bit methinks. I live at the Acurazine forums generally, but will be popping in here as well. My wife and I are expecting our first in May and were looking for wagons. Before she got knocked up the car she really wanted was a Mini S, so I guess it's no surprise we ended up with an A3. The A4 Avant didn't do it for her, and noone would sell us a 325xiT (can't find em anywhere). Small sport utes just aren't nice enough yet so here we are (excluding X3 but it's way overpriced). She decided on a Silver/Black DSG A3 with Premium, Cold Weather, Open Sky, Xenons (not the Bi-Xenon - it was sitting around for awhile apparently), Navi+ and Sirius. She loves it.

Question: The car sat on the lot somewhere in NC or VA for a few months. When we took delivery I neglected to check the version on the Navi DVD, but it looks as if it's v1A. I guess from reading here and at navplus.us the latest is v2A. The dealer is dicking around about this. Does anyone know of any program/plan that would get either the dealer or me the most recent update? I ask because they are clueless and if they decide to screw us I'd like to be informed when I speak to the GM.

Thanks,

Michael

They are supposed to order it in your name when you purchase the car. That way the owner gets the most up to date info. Sounds like your dealer may be playing musical DVDs, either keeping the latest one for demos, or giving them away to preferred customers.

I would contact AoA.
