Will the "R-41 17x8" with a 20mm offset really fit on the A3 3.2??? The stock wheels are 17x7.5 with a 45 mm offset. That seems like a HUGE difference to me.

Has anyone tried this and had no problems with clearance for brakes, suspension?

I need a decent looking wheel for snow tires. Any other suggestions are welcome. I'm having a hard time finding anything that I like that is an exact fit.

Ronal USA does not offer nor recommend a 20mm offset for the HIGH OFFSET A3--don't know where that came from. The R41 fits the A3 in 16-18" sizes, though, w. correct offset and tire size

I'm not sure why I said 20 mm either. Sounds like the R-41's with the 55 offset will work based on Greg's comments.
