I've read as much as I can on the forums about this, but questions still remain for me, if anyone has answers that would be great!

I have: standard audio (Concert II single-cd in dash, no nav). The cd changer connector cable in the glove box is going unused. I have a dension icelink ipod connector that connected to the back of my head unit, rendering the cd changer connector in the glove box useless from what i understand since the head unit thinks the dension is a cd changer.

1. Can I install the audi satellite tuner (sirius or xm) in the trunk slot AND still keep my dension icelink? I believe the answer is yes since the head unit has two separate mode buttons for cd changer and satellite.

2. I found this website with instructions:
http://spaces.msn.com/members/mcdonst1/PersonalSpace.aspx?_c=

2A. Any advice on removing that passenger side kick plate?

2B. He mentions not needing VAGCOM to prep the head unit. Can anyone confirm this as well?

2C. Anybody try this all out with success?

Thanks, I'd just like to be sure of all these things before i give 300 bucks to sirius.

http://spaces.msn.com/members/mcdonst1/PersonalSpace.aspx?_c=</a

I USED A ROUNDED BUTTERKNIFE FOR KICKPLATE
AND YOU DON'T NEED A VAGCOM ONCE YOU INSTALL
THE SAT RECEIVER YOU WILL INSTANTLY RECIEVE
PREVEIW FROM SAT (XM-SIRUS)
INSTALL TIME 15-20MINS TOPS
