Does anyone know where to get rings decals for the doors?

I was in Finland at the end of the summer and I saw this awesome red A3 with the 4 rings decals on the side. The decals were fairly large sized, maybe 8 - 10" high, and were applied low down near the bottom of the doors. (I took a picture but then my camera was stolen from my checked luggage on the way home.) Reminded me of the 80s Quattro.

Two questions: once applied, is it easy to get decals removed without harming the paint? The reason I ask is the car is leased.

Also - would anyone have a pic of such a car?

I think Carbonlord (see AWOT or C5 A6 forum) can do that sort of stuff or help point you in the right direction.

Some types of material (adhesives) are more desirable for long term use that others.

I expected them to last a few months. They have been on since early June with no sign of wear.

the ones that come as an option for the 25th anniversary quattro audi? can that be reproduced by printers since the rings are fading?

I think the car that I saw had solid rings.

But that would be very cool.

Does anyone have any pictures of A3s with rings decals? Fading or otherwise?

How did you paint your calipers? They look awesome!

Looks pretty sweet. I've ordered white decals from xenon mods and plan to paint them a shiny black.

Blue calipers with white Audi rings

...not applied yet, and strictly limited to this car. Can't buy them as a separate item.

i jacked the car up on jackstands so i could work on all four at the same time. i masked off everything but the calipers. i then took airtools and sanded them completely down to the metal. i used a brake cleaner/degreaser and really cleaned them up good. then i applied about six coats of duplicolor high heat brake caliper paint. i placed the audi decals on and topped everything off with two coats of clearcoat. btw, i am talking about the spray technique, not the paintbrush.
