Can anyone confirm that the HomeLink transmitter is on the left side? I'm having difficulty programming my garage opener. The manual says it's on the left side, but the HomeLink site says it's on the right.

When training (i.e. programming) the HomeLink transmitter, use *new* battery in your garage opener. I had difficulty programming the transmitter at the beginning. But after I put a battery in my garage opener, programming was as easy as a snap. BTW, my garage opener is an old Genie early 90 model.
