The exhaust could definitely sound more aggressive. True dual seperated exhausts would have been nice too. The steering wheel from the GLI would have been nice interior touch .

Very smooth power delivery.Almost un-natural feeling coming from driving manual last 5 years.I guess it takes time to get use to the seamless shifting of the DSG.

The car is definitely quick. Iwould believe the performance figures posted by Audi.As I mentioned due to mild exhaust note and very smooth power delivery the car doesnt draw alot of your attention as you accelerate. I think this car would give a whole different experince with a well tuned after market exhaust.

I like the GLI steering wheel. Anyone know how to fit one to their A3?

I was the first customer to drive a silver demo.

I was very impressed with the power and tightness of the car. The 4 wheel drive gave quite a different feel than the FWD A3. I did try the paddles and S mode, but the car had enough power to make those features feel unneeded. The 3.2 engine fits very nicely under the hood, but not quite sure where the battery is yet. I liked the Open Sky design effect which leaves the whole roof black. The exhaust note was very noticeable, much more than the 2.0T. Everything impressed me.

I drive an S4 Avant MT6, so it was interesting to compare the two.

Did it have the Sport Package? Did they have A3 3.2 brochures yet? Was it the same shift knob as Tiptronic?

It rocks. I'd feel very confident behind the wheel of one, but I don't think I'll be getting rid of my GTI. But if I had to, I'd get one.

Very, very different experience to the 2.0T. Power is more effortless and no way near as nervous. I love my 2.0T but if i was a US buyer I'd definitely go for it.

I have more coming.... This is a very attractive Brilliant Red with Black leather, panoramic roof, DSG, S-line, 18" wheels and no GPS. Very nicely done and the red tail lenses blend in with the body color in a monochromatic look. Located in a brand new spotless Audi dealer, Jack Daniels Audi on Rt.17 in Upper Saddle River. You could eat off their floors. Car had a flat so could not drive it, but dealership owner let us have the keys and as much time as we wanted to check it out. Engine sounded great. Very rumbly at idle. S-Line interior included semi- perforated steering wheel and what appeared to be a better looking and feeling DSG shift knob which was partially polished metal. Black roof and spoiler looked purposeful. More pics coming including window sticker at $38K+.
