Front brake calipers are supplied by Continental Teves...along with the brake boosters and the brake hoses. Ditto the ABS, electronic stability control & wheel speed sensors. Odds are that Teves also supplies like calipers to other Audi & VW models.

carbotech just needs the FMSI info on the pad to produce them . . . or they can tool some pads if you provide backing plates.

...or is it vice-versa? Audi claims that the front & rear brake pads are supplied by Federal-Mogul. Not surprised if Bosch supplies the ABS module. Teves claims to supply the "anti-lock brakes". This would be a lot easier if I had an A3 sitting in my garage.

Found this link while searching for more info:

Suppliers to the A3

The TT calipers are ATE, the A3 teves, they look identical, and the 12.3" rotor size is identical.

Just trying to confirm before ordering TT pads for an A3.
