Can any one help?? I am trying to upgrade the factory fitted gear knob to a stainless steel type. However, I am unable to remove the old one. Does any one have any instructions or had a similar problem??

According to my local dealer these items are on a screw thread but unable to remove.

I dont think that you've got a threaded shifter assembly there.

Huh? Please provide more info as I am having the same problem.

Also has anyone installed a short shifter yet? I believe the car is need of an improvement with the shifter.
