No place to wash it myself here. :(

if you can't find a good reasonable detailer. Or you could take it to one of those self-washes.

wash by hand instead of running through the tunnel. They do a good job and in the end the cost of having this done is not too much more than what it costs me to pump loads of dollar bills/quarters into the self-wash joint. On top of that, I'm not sweating like a pig after the car has been washed! :-)

At a self-wash I would only use the water, nothing else. Generally speaking, nothing beats a wash that you can control, from the shampoo used, to the final waxing. Not to mention those rags that who knows what they collect in them and could damage your paint anytime!
Besides, when I used to take my car to a car wash, yes I've sinned, I never let them touch the interior. Rather sweat a little but the windows are clean, the seats and everything else looks like new after some Lexol and 303.

Haha, I save that for the gym. I agree it's nice to have complete control over the washing process as well as detailing.
