I have a '98 A3 1.6. It has a Blaupunkt Melbourne RCM 148 radio/cassette and I was wondering what are my options regarding adding a CD changer and possibly attaching a Nokia phone carkit? Does this unit handle CD changers?

do you mean Audi Chorus or Concert? If concert - yes - you can attach CD Changer... If chorus - again there is a possibility to put Changer but it will not be attached the normal way... Clarify what exact radio you have and I will explain...

thank you for getting back to me. the car came with a blaupunkt fitted as standard. it may have the same connections a chorus or concert may have. the connections are ISO but theres another interface located right above the ISO on the back of the unit. I may only need an additional short harness but I'm not 100% sure. the radio is a melbourne rcm 148 cassette/radio unit. any ideas?
