I'm sure it's my window's that are creaking. It happens constantly, when i'm driving round a car park going over speed bumps or on the open road soaking up the bumps. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yep.....Ive got it in front :-( I have noticed that my problem is oonylt there when the window is completely at to top....completely closed.

But if I cranck down the window 2mm...then there's no problem :-(

My solution was to spray all rubber parts touching the window....but this only helps for a month or so.

Im going to replace the entire interiour in my A3 this weekend so I hope that I will be able to locate the exact place where my problem is and prevent it from making that annoying noise......

We seem to get the SE or the sport, the latter being what I have. My A3 is red too with a grey interior. The only red being on the checkered seats. I would someday like to cover the door panel trim with red altatara some time though.

yup it is a bit too much. Not much of an attraction then LOL. I do like the panel on the door, although maybe not on the door pocket too. Have fun swapping across. :-)

i have the same problem for one month now.
i spoke with the Audi dealer and he told me that he must check the inside of the door...something about the thing that keeps the window up.
i did know that it is so easy ,,with the spray to be fixed.
so the noise is from the rubbers round the window ,and not from inside the door??

My friend, I beg that ain't your car.

Hell no is that no pimp ride, aint no self respecting pimp gonna b seen sitting on that upholstery. I've seen better fabric in an old peoples home. Who in the world did that to that (hopefully not your) car? They should be shot!

At the moment on preparing the doorsides.....Im mounting some plates that will kill all vibrations when the volume is crancked up high ;-)

The rear seat will have to wait a will....cause I have to changed the set up of my stereo in the trunck...and thats going to take some time cause this time it just has to be made perfectly

hi,

I got the same problem.I thought that the problem was created by using the silicone spray.

SO if somebody knows how to stop it please post.

Use Krytox lubricant. Apply it on the weatherstrips around the window. This will kill the creaking, guranteed.

Audi dealers should carry it. Small bottle but expensive. Do a search. It's been mentioned before with the part number.
