Hi

recently my A3 1.8 '97 began to lose RPM when doing stop and go driving, sometimes the engine dies after applying cluth RPM can go as low as 2-300 anyone know what the problem could be.

Im having the same problem with my 97 1.8 A3, i live in brazil and i thought that it could be caused by the bad gasoline in my country, then i went to the dealer and they told me to use an engine cleaner made by stp 9the black one, and it should solve the problem, im trying it tomorrow, so if anyone have any other sugestion please let me know......
