Having spoken to a few more people in the know about lowering cars, I have been told I need to get the shocks done as well because if I don't the car will be really bouncy when lowered.

However, if the standard A3 shocks are gas shocks then they could be pumped up or something to make them stiffer (and no need to replace them). Anyone got any tips for me here? What should I do?

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

you can adjust the gas pressure to harden the suspension. but you got to had it done by the expert, the basic procedures are to drill a hole in the tube, add more pressure till you got the right number, then seal it back by welding

but it's just the simple way to say it, the reality is a pain in the ass if you don't have the right tools
