People at AoA were talking about the A3. There is little doubt that some form of the A3 will appear in the US. At this point I think it will be the four door hatch (presumably not to vulturize VW sales, although Audi would argue that the A3 and the Golf are totally different cars).

Wouldn't you think with the 3.2L engine and the DSG tranny, that this car would move a little quicker than what is quoted?

Do you know if the quoted 0-100km/h time was taken on a 3.2 with tiptronic? If not, I would bet money that car is a lot quicker than that.

You can guess what I owned before my A3 :)
