I'm new to the board, and I'm looking to trade in my 99 Honda Passport in the RDU area for either a 99.5 or 00 A4 1.8T. Can anyone give me any advice? I had a 98 and loved it.
Thanks

Also, take a look at the S4 that is a Leith. I saw it (but did not see the inside thanks to this morning's downpour) and it is verrry nice. Leith is not known for giving bargains. It may be worthwhile to go to Charlotte to make the deal, the drive could save you $500 or more. There is also a good dealer in Roanoke, VA if you're ever up in that area. Get the sport package on the 1.8t Most of Leith's cars have it. It's a sweet car - you will love it. I have a silver/onyx leatherette 1.8t, and would not get the onyx interior again (i looks great, but too hot this summer). I would consider their cloth. -Dave GO HOKIES! I thought they were pretty reasonably priced (I got mine pretty much at invoice), but don't try to trade-in there-you get stifffed pretty badly. They're also probably ready to deal on 99.5 models since they've got the 2000's coming in. A friend of mine works for CarMax, and from what he's said, you won't get market value for your Passport, especially since it's so new and cars depreciate so fast their couple of years. I would definitely advocate selling your car yourself-that's what I've chosen to do. It's a little more trouble, but you'll get significantly more money than trading it in anywhere. Good luck, and I hope to see you on the road in your new A4. |
