what size have the rear speakers???

the rear speakers are 17cm - you will need a speaker adaptor (try incar-discount.co.uk), to get to them you will have to lift off the rub strip/ sill near the bottom of the car, you'll find a few screws ...umm i cant remember how many but it should be quite straight forward from then on, most company's will do straight fit speakers to change to so u might not need an adaptor, i managed to to get some Infinity (harmon kardon)655i they fit and sound ace!!...good amount of bass and no distortion, but have u decided to change your standard head unit? to get the full affect?. the standard head unit has like only 15 watts per channel where as a sony or kenwood will have 45 watts per channel...anyway i hope that helps ...cya

the standard audi set up uses a amp for the rear speakers and its crap. ive run 2 speaker wires from head unit to 6by9s in a stealth rear shelf u will need a smart plug from autoleads if u want to run ur standard rear set up on a after market head unit
