Driving home from work today, an X plate Renault Sport Clio 172 came racing up behind me on the dual carriageway. Obviously proud of his new purchase, the driver tailgated me for a mile until a roundabaout hinting with his headlights that I should change lane.

So, coming out of the roundabout from 20mph or so I accelerate flat out just to see how much shove these new Clios have and am pleased to report that my trusty AmD 1.8TS whooped the Clio good and proper until I was baulked by traffic at about 110mph.

Not so proud now Mr Clio Sport.

Pointless post, but just thought I'd share the glory!

Sat behind a gorgeous looking wide arched X reg Clio V6 on the motorway yesterday. I knew he was itching to go and go we did - and after 120MPH he lost his power/bottle!

My car had no problem keeping up at all! up to 120 both of their performance was the same and i suspect above that the Audi wins!!
