Was walking home last night when I came across a stricken A4 owner. The poor guy was stranded half-in half-out of a junction on a steep hill. Being the good Samaritan + feeling sorry for a fellow Audi owner, I tried to push him further into the junction - NO WAY. Those bloody A4's are like tanks! The problem he had was really weird. The engine would turn-over no problem, all the diagnostics said everything was fine, he had a full tank of fuel. Just no sign of the engine starting. My guess was that the Engine management got scrambled or something - any ideas?

Anyway, he ended-up calling-out the RAC for an 15 meter tow to his house. Embarrassing.

Hope I never get caught like that.

Our A4 1.8T quattro is very heavy !! My A3 is noticable lighter, I can push the A3 but not the A4 !!!

...I can push the S3, which is approx. 1400kg. Is the A4 heavier than the S3?

And this was on a hill - I couldn't even hold it in place, I was sliding down the hill with it.
Next-time I'll bring a can of spinach :-)

Tried to push my girlfriends nova once whilst it was on a hill. Me and my mate failed, although I thought I had superhuman strength but that was probably due to the 5 pints of stella I had just cunsumed that evening :)

Pushing cars up hills aint easy
