anyone have any ideas whats planned for the S3 over the next few years? when's the new model due? will there be upgrades along the way to the new model like more power?

...various German Car Magazines claim that the new model will be up for grabs about Spring 2003.

I have some drawings from these mags, which again claim that the new A3 will look like Steppenwolf.

I don't know anything about the powerplant. But I'll scan and post those drawings soon. I must admit that I like the drawings a lot and I hope the new model is going to look similar.

The new A3 is due in 2003. This means, a new S3 won't be available until 2004, as usually at least 1 year passes before Audi upgrades the S models to the new version.

Audi could take it to the US as well - seems like that would please a lot of the yanks.

So many A3/S3-frustrated americans... Amazing. But anyway, they got so many other things, which we can only dream of - fair elections for instance ;-)
