Started to notice that the brakes squeel (or groan) when reversing slowly. It only happens in reverse and only when the car is cold. If I reverse quickly (10mph +) and then slow down I don't notice it. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Sometimes the leading, but not the trailing edge of the pad has some taper. That makes it noisy in reverse, but not forward. On another car, I had one of the brake bolts back off so that it worked fine forward but flapped in reverse.
If so, it may not be releasing all the way. Before moving the car from a cold start, try releasing the brake, resetting in again forcefully, then releasing it again.
You're obviously still under warranty, so this may be a complaint the dealer will have to solve.

The right rear would squeal as you describe, but I found out driving through some puddles (smell) that it was hanging up forward even though like you I didn't hear it. It only took about 3 visits to the dealer to get that one resolved.
