View Full Version : Xenons - justified?

I'm struggling with the decision whether to go with the Xenons or not. My bottom line is:
1) I don't care about how they look to everyone else, so I can't justify based on aesthetics.
2) If vision is improved (more than a nominal %), I would probably go for it based on improved safety.
3) I know that $-wise it's a good deal with the MY2000, but that $400 could also be spent on other things.
Thanks for the input.

Xenons do provide a brighter (some say whiter) light. I personaly would go with any resonable lighting improvement possible. In addition you might want to consider a PIAA light to replace the low bumper mounted fogs/driving lights. I have upgraded the lighting in just about every car I have had. In my 99.5 1.8TSM I have not done anything yet because it is pretty good, but I imagine I'll take on the project within the next 6 mos.
