They are not hard to come by if you know someone who works there, I've managed to get free 3 day passes so I will camp this year! Have also managed to get pit access on test week which is next week! Mind you I have had to pay last few years.

I have been before and did not get such a great experience - sat in one place watching all afternoon - sound and smells were great but the coverage of the race was a little lacking without Murray and as Al pointed out it is expensive if you don't get it free!

Enjoy John

The race is ok, you don't ever see as much as on the telly, I'm alot more excited about being able to get in the pits next week on testing day, because I get to meet all the drivers, team bosses and hopefully chat up Danni Minogue if she's about! Also it's the only test Ferrari do in Britain this year.

Beer, women and the smell of burning rubber!!! Stop telling me so much, I'm getting jealous!

Don't know if you are interested but I got a copy of F1 2000 last week - It is bloody good although very demading on hardware - eagerly awaiting GP3 from Jeff Crammond etc....

I'm gonna wait for gp3, I'm still playing gp2 with the 2000 season add-on, but rather distracted at the moment by gran turismo 2 and have to stay have sold the A3 for a Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak! What hardware are you running currently?

I just couldn't part with my A3, mod'd it up to 335hp, and it served me very well. Just wish my real A3 had such performance!

I'm one for keeping the cars I win/create, except for the dross, which I promptly sell.

I set out from the begining with the objective to have a collection of Audi cars, so, amongst all the other cars, I've got: A3, S4 (touring car conversion), TT, TT Lm-edition. Yes, I did spend a Million for the TT-LM ! Mad I know - but its a cracker.

Fantastic game though, dispite programming glitches.

Yep, GT2 is great and there is nothing like modding a selection of audis! I like the S4 with 600+bhp! As for the two Suzukis - WOW, thing is that unlike GT1 with a 1000bhp Skyline, the Suzukis actually handle well too! I do enjoy the realism of GP2 though and whilst there have been many GP simulator/arcade games since with 3D they are all crap except F1 2000 - granted its not as good as GP2 in the playability stakes but the graphics are cool.

As I mentioned my machine struggles a wee bit - Celeron 400, Voodoo 2 12MB, 128Mb Ram - Looking forward to the Voodoo 5(?) with 64Mb etc...

I'm running a similar setup celeron 400, voodoo2 12Mbx2(SLI), 128Mb, but the celeron is running at 450 on 2.1volts, 500 is possible but I have to disable second level cache and that slows it back down again, alot of people can get 500 with cache enabled so it might be worth a try, and the voodoo twos are clocked at 100mhz, it makes a surprising difference, I'm not gonna upgrade till I can't get decent refresh rates on a game, at the moment I don't struggle on anything even quake 3!
