Can anyone lay out for me the benefits of having Xenon headlights? They just seem to hurt my eyes. Does anyone else have this problem?

Also, does the Xenon affect seeing the tail lights of cars ahead of you?

Biggest negative is at night on unlit roads. THe cut-off is so dramatic, it's hard to see above the line. Halogens have awider dispursion of light.

Also, the "blue" lights, seem to make slower traffic pull to the right, which in Boston is extremely rare.
