I'm considering to paint the front/rear/side aprons of my A3 in the same color as the car is (lightsilver). Currently they are black.

Has anyone ever done this? Is this going to cost me a fortune?

I just visited my local Audi dealer this morning and he mentioned a total price around CHF 1100 (US$ 660). It will be done next week so if anyone is interested I might post some pix of it.
