Just out of interest what warranty claims have you guys had on your cars,
I've had a new gearbox that rattled when cold after 1 week,
both front windows that had scratches going up and down towards the back of the glass, as if something was catching them, they also put new window regulators on at the same time just in case,
and a new Bose sub box that had a vibration mid volume upwards.

My A3 was delivered with the silver staccato interior - all except for the passenger seat base which was blue staccato!

Oh, and the glovebox lock was a wee bit sticky on delivery.

Have done only 2600 miles so far though - however my last car had visited the garage 14 times in the fist 8 months and 15000 miles so I am expecting better from the four rings!

`00 A31.8TS (190bhp - I wish!!)

My right wing mirror started to fall of its housing right after 24hrs and had to be replaced. First they asked me to pay for it and as they saw me getting mad they decided to change it under warranty.

Also have a problem with BOSE Sound System, where if tuned to CD I can hear engine revs through the back speakers. But they failed to fix this and contacted Audi Germany. Now we are waiting to hear from them.

Squeaky door seals - fixed, passenger side nearly fixed.
Creaking door panels - fixed
Various dashboard/glove box tap noises. - not fixed.
Brake fade in wet weather - not sure if fixed or not.
Engine fuel economy - not sure if fixed, doesn't look like it so far.

I must be lucky or perhaps I should look harder !
So far mine seems to be fine.
No obvious rattles
Momentarily sounds dieselish on startup and the A4 doesn't.Perhaps I should get it checked out ?

Which interior trim did you get with it?

My a3 sounds a little rattly in the first few seconds too - unlikely to be a problem.
