Hello people,

I’m still waiting to hear on a delivery date for my S3 ( and I guess
I’ll be waiting a while yet!). While I’m waiting though, has anybody
on this forum picked their car up from, or going to from Holland/Germany?
I was just interested in what route any of you have taken back to the UK.

I don’t particularly want to be spending that long in Holland before
venturing back, but I think the nearest port (Rotterdam) is an overnight
ferry. Any suggestions/wisdom??

I'm (hopefully) going to pick up my S3 from near Maastricht on the Monday after next, and I will be coming back via Calais, through the tunnel. If you are coming from somewhere near Rotterdam it is a reasonable drive to Calais - I've done it from The Hague. Of course, it does depend on where in the UK you are going to.

I hope the wait has only incresed your desire to own the car! Silver makes the car look great too, It was that or black for me.

I'll be driving back to Coventry... Ohhh, now I've started thinking about it again!
