Probably, but doesn't your 1.8T comes
with the "Sport" kit? Stiffer suspension,
16" wheels?

Then upgrade... 17" wheels as the 16", will
accept a larger tire giving you significant extra
grip...

Hi,

How do you find driving in Greece? I was visiting last year and found the roads to be good in some areas but very bad in others. How do you find driving the A3 in Greece with its natuarally furm suspension?

What part of Greece are you from?

Thanks...

John

I drive very very carefully as the roads in Istanbul are full with holes, new ones pop up every day and you don't know where they'll show up next. Especially if you drive a car with low profile tyres this can be a nightmare. I damaged 3 tyres and 2 wheels of my previous car, a Tipo 2.0i 16v, which came with 15" wheels and 185/55 Goodyear Tyres.

As you should know, the S3 comes with 225/45 R 17 W Pirelli P6000's ($300 each) and 17" Avus wheels ($370 each), now the risk of damaging them is much greater.

I hate this city.

Roads can be pretty bad! The good part is that i live in corfu, a small island in the North-West part of Greece, and corfu has a lot of small, narrow, windy roads .. so driving is never boring!!
How would you appreciate your driving skills if you drive on a motorway? boring!! here in Greece anything can happen: one part of the road might be missing after a heavy storm, or you might find a car parked on the fast lane, just like that!! You might have to accelerate prety fast if you want to overtake a car in some cases. That is why i upgraded my car to 200hp, and i can feel the difference!!

that is all for now,
