Im interested in ordering a K&N or HKS filter panel for my 1997 A3 Turbo. Since I live in the DOminican Republic, Its easier for me to order from the USA. IS the filter the same size as an A4???

P.S. Since its dificult for me to send my ECu to have a 1.8BAR chip for my car, I will be soon buying an Apex'i AVR-R Boost controller. It regulates, Air fuel rations, Boost in RPMS, injector cycle, etc. All the help is welcomed. Thanks.

the air filter fitted to the a3 is different to the a4.the audi part number for the a3 air filter is 1j0-129-620,the number for the a4 filter is 058-133-843.i would suggest using the k+n filter as i use these for my re-chip conversions.i will get the part number for the k+n filter tomorrow at work.

I have just converted my a3 1.8T 150hp to 195hp with oettinger chip, the results are like having a new car, but they say that air filter is a must.
Any particular brand, and web address i can order in europe?

the part number for the k&n air filter for the a3 is 33-2760,the number for the a4 is 33-2765,hpoe this helps.

I don't know what you got in the UK..but the K&N filters that fit
the US model A4 cars are the 33-2675 and 33-2125.
