View Full Version : BOSE Sound System Problem in S3

I wanted to have a factory installed music system to avoid unnecessary trouble Audi can cause after a messed up installation attempt by an aftermarket guy. However, I was wrong. It had to be the factory installed BOSE Sound System that caused trouble.

I can hear the Engine revs perfectly through the BOSE Sound System Speakers, if the System is in the CD Changer Mode. This ain't the case if the radio is on. Does anyone face similar problems? What can / should be done? It is very annoying to face such problems in a brand new car as I don't want to see the interior torn apart in order to find where the installation went wrong.

I'm suffering from CD problems as well. The unit keeps getting faults. If I turn on the Xenon headlight with the CD in operation or if I accelerate hard. Its tell me wrong track info or CD Error. Takes up to 5 minutes to recover.

Its already had a new CD Changer fitted. Booked in again

I had the same problem, my dealer told me that the CD units were prone to this type of problem and they have had to swap quite a few units.

I also get the problem where the head unit reads:

CD 00 TRK 00
