Since here in mexico they just introduced the 180hp A3 no dealer has been able tu tell me when they will be getting them. And since i have been waiting for a long time because the color combination i want is rare here in mexico (dark blue with beige interiors) , I don´t want to wait for the 180hp. My question is if in the future i could bring in my A3 to the dealer and ask them to make the modifications for the 180hp. Any guesses of the cost?.

I don't know what it is like in your country. But here in the UK I've yet to hear of any Audi dealer offering engine performance mods. Does anyone know of any?

Some dealers offer body-kits and sports exhausts (mufflers), but not chipping.

Euro version has atleast different sylinderhead, cams, intake and naturally ECU -program.

You can chip it but other changes are not practical for this purpose.

New models also have fly-by-wire throttle while earlier have normal throttle.

Aston Green , Slough & Reading are dealing with AmD and besides rechipping will honour factory warranty, so long as it is serviced by them !
